Once you have the police job and are on duty, you will have access to the police menu which is F6. Through this menu, you will be able to ask for license, cuff, escort, search & more.
To jail a citizen(player), simply type /jailmenu and a menu will pop up where it will give you the option of who to jail, the reasoning and how long they should be jailed for. Every 1 month of jail time in game is equivalent to 1 minute in real time.
Police can also interact with PEDs or NPCs in the city. To initiate a stop with an NPC committing a traffic violation, drive behind the NPC and press E twice. A menu will pop up to either have the suspect follow your vehicle or release them. Have them follow you and stop somewhere safe where you can conduct the traffic stop. Get out your car and approach the NPC car, press G to bring up the NPC interaction menu. This menu will allow you to search, cuff, escort, transport, and jail the NPC depending on what is found. You must be back at the police station to send NPC to jail.
To charge individuals, in the text box type /createbill. A small menu will pop up to put reason and amount of invoice. Once you click confirm, it will be given to the closest person to you, as an item, so keep that in mind. For the individual to pay the invoice, they must drag the invoice item to use and follow the instructions. It will remove the invoice amount and the invoice once paid and the person who created the bill will be made aware of payment.
To bring up your Computer-Aided Dispatch or CAD, simply do /mdt in the text box.
Here are some commands related to NPC traffic control: /traffic 1 - Traffic stopped /traffic 2 - Slow traffic /trafficsign 1 - Stopped traffic sign /trafficsign2 - Slow traffic sign /clearanim - Clear traffic animation
To tackle a suspect, Press G while running at them
/dispatch - This command should be put in the text box to bring up dispatch which allows you to accept, forward and dismiss calls.
